Are you due for your colonoscopy? Do you need a screening colonoscopy? No time for an office visit? We can help.
Our office has a direct access colonoscopy program where patients and / or referring physicians can request a screening colonoscopy without patients having to take time out of their busy schedule to have an office visit prior to the procedure.
Step 1: Patient may notify us by initiating the Direct Access process electronically by clicking here or calling the office to let us know of their interest. Alternatively, the patient may ask their primary care doctor to send our office a referral on their behalf.
Step 2: We will ask you to complete health history paperwork
Step 3: We will collect records from your primary care physician
Step 4: One of our physicians will review the information
Step 5: We call you to schedule the colonoscopy as soon as the review is complete
Step 6: You have your colonoscopy
Patients with symptoms such as rectal bleeding and abdominal pain, may need to be evaluated by one of our physicians prior to colonoscopy to make sure that colonoscopy is the best and safest test for them.
