Scott M.Browning, M.D. Colorectal SurgeonDr. Browning trained in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Since 1997, Dr. Browning has been a practicing colorectal surgeon (formerly known as a proctologist). Portland distinguished Dr. Browning as one of the city’s top doctors in both 2005 and 2010. While providing the full spectrum of Colorectal Surgery services, his areas of greatest interest include minimally invasive (Robotic, Laparoscopic and Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgical) procedures for benign and malignant colorectal diseases, office (nonoperative) and surgical management of anorectal diseases (hemorrhoids, fissures, fistuals, etc.) and Screening Colonoscopy for the prevention of colorectal cancer.

Megan M. Cavanaugh, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Megan M. Cavanaugh, M.D. Colorectal SurgeonDr. Cavanaugh trained in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Since 2004, Dr. Cavanaugh has been a practicing colorectal surgeon (formerly known as a proctologist). Portland Monthly Magazine recognized Dr. Cavanaugh as a Top Doctor in 2008. She manages the full range of colorectal conditions, with a special interest in anorectal diseases and disorders of the pelvic floor. In addition to performing Colonoscopy and minimally invasive surgery she also provides specialized diagnostic testing and treatment for fecal incontinence. She provides office and nonoperative treatment for multiple anorectal conditions.

Jeffrey V. Manchio, MD, FACS

Jeffrey V. Manchio, M.D.Jeffrey V. Manchio, MD, FACS earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor. He obtained his colon and rectal surgery fellowship training through the Indiana University/Kendrick Colon & Rectal Center. In addition, he received one year of plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic. Specializing in colon and rectal surgery, Dr. Manchio has clinical interest in treating colorectal cancer, anorectal disorders, fecal incontinence, and performing colonoscopy. He also specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including the da Vinci robotic technique and transanal minimally invasive surgery.

Lisa S. Poritz, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Lisa S. Poritz, MD, FACS, FASCRSDr. Poritz received her medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine and then completed a research fellowship and general residency at The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.  She then completed a colon and rectal residency at the University of Toronto and has been in practice since 2000.  Prior to joining the practice at Colorectal Health Northwest, Dr. Poritz was an Associate Professor of Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.  She brings to the practice extensive experience in the surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease, while providing treatment for the full spectrum of colorectal disease.  Dr. Poritz is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and is a fellow of the ACS and the ASCRS.
